Industry HCI Events

The HCI Group is always keen to support and promote events around the UK at which practitioners and interested members of business and industry are welcome. Events are generally advertised on the events section of this website, on our sister site UsabilityNews.com and via our HCI News Service. Events include conferences, workshops, tutorials and informal meetings where participants can talk, learn about the issues or simply meet people with similar interests and challenges.

The major event of each year is the HCI Group's annual 5 day conference. In addition to items of interest throughout the week, Industry Day is specifically dedicated to presentations and keynote speakers drawn from business, emphasising 'HCI in the trenches', bridging from academia to business, and other practitioner concerns. In addition, high quality Tutorials bring you up to date with user-centred design tools and techniques.
