Based in London, this web development agency is looking for an exceptional User Experience Designer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in the development and delivery of high quality projects.
As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the User Experience on a wide range of projects. This will include gathering functional requirements and defining core business requirements, creating wireframes and functional /design specs, and working with development teams to ensure the delivery of high quality solutions. In addition, the role will involve managing the relationship with the client during the project life cycle, and delivering exceptional levels of customer service. The role will suit a Web Designer with a desire to move into User Experience, along with existing User Experience Designers.
This diverse role requires a wide range of skills, encompassing creative, technical and customer service, along with a fanatical attention to detail, and ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities. A real passion for the web and the user experience is absolutely essential, as is the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people. This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership for the development and delivery of an exceptional level of user experience across a broad range of web based projects.
To be considered for this role you must have;
* Proven commercial experience in a Web Design or User Experience role, with evidence of delivering high quality web sites and applications.
* A comprehensive knowledge of web based applications and development techniques, along with a passion for the web in general.
* Demonstrable experience of creating solution design documentation / wireframes.
* Experience with web design tools - Photoshop / Fireworks.
* Experience of developing client propositions.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
In addition to this, any of the following skills would be highly advantageous: HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, In Design, Illustrator, advanced spreadsheet knowledge, Office applications.
